  1. I've never really loved short stories, somehow I always feel cheated when I finish them so quickly But a few of these are really tempting me. Bailey White! I had forgotten about her. I wonder if she is still on NPR ever? I read her books after hearing her and maybe this story is in one of them.... as I remember her books they seemed more like memoirs than stories. OK, that's just one of your list that intrigued me ... but I don't want to write a book about your books here ;> Just, as always, thanks for the suggestions.
